Being healthy & fit gives you so much more opportunity to live a life with more MOBILITY, Less PAIN, more ENERGY, Less SICKNESS, & more CONFIDENCE <--(which leads to more HAPPINESS). 



Health starts and stems from WITHIN.  It's NOT what you look like from the outside!  This goes both ways.  You can look "healthy" on the outside but really not be healthy on the inside.  Or you can be a little bit on the thicker side and be deemed unfit & healthy.  What you are putting in your body is KEY!  "You are what you eat" is actually a TRUE statement!  If you eat foods with little or no nutrition, filled with chemicals such as preservatives and pesticides, then your body will not only be MALNOURISHED but also filled with toxins. You will continue to feel SLUGGISH not only physically but MENTALLY as well!  As time goes on with the continued poor eating habits and lack of nutrition we start to develop conditions because our bodies are consistently LACKING what it needs to run in optimal function and being given extra TOXINS to attempt to flush through the body. You may not be looking at a Fast Food Cheeseburger as being a reason to not be feeling great and your right!  ONE BAD MEAL is not going to DESTROY your health, NOR is ONE GOOD MEAL going to REVIVE it.  

I love crappy processed food just as much as the next, the importance here is that I WANT to FEEL GOOD, I want to be able to still be ACTIVE when I get OLDER don't you??  It's ok to have a cheat day even once a week, GO FOR IT!  The rest of the week you NEED to be making a consensus decision to either be FIGHTING disease or HELPING it take over!!!  Which one do you choose????

*Lite Version* Roasted Red Pepper HUMMUS (Yellow Container Approved)


Roasted Red Pepper Hummus





2 Cans of Organic Chicpeas/Garbanzo Beans (reserve about 1/2 of the juice of one can & pour that in)
1 Clove of Organic Garlic
3 Teaspoons of Organic First Cold Press Olive Oil
3 Teaspoons of Organic Tahini
2 Organic Red Peppers Roasted then Skin Peeled off
Juice of 1 Large Organic Lemon (more if you like it extra tangy)
Salt & Pepper to taste

Put it in your Food Processor & VIOLA

*Optional Garnish-Diced Roasted Red Peppers & Fresh Parsley







This is great for anyone needing to cut calories. Although, I will be using as a YELLOW + 2 TSP on the 21 DAY FIX

This is a great Low Cal Breakfast!

SPINACH, FETA, & SCRAMBLED EGGS with TOAST

*1 Organic Egg
*1/3 cup Organic Egg Whites
*1 Handful of organic Spinach
*1oz Low Fat Feta Cheese
*1 Small Diced organic Tomato
*1 Pinch of Freshly Chopped Chives
Small drizzle of EVOO or Coconut Oil
(Optional small clove of Garlic finely chopped)

Turn frying pan on Med heat, drizzle with oil. Add (garlic) & tomatoes then briefly add the spinach after. Cook for about 1 min or so until The spinach starts to widdle. Now add your egg & egg whites. Just keep scrambling everything up around the pan till the eggs are cooked through.

Add your scrambled eggs to your plate & top with crumbled feta & chopped chive!

Also have 1 SPROUTED Toast with 1/2 Tbl of oganic butter

Another big NEGATIVE!  Beachbody has gone out of their way to find RESPONSIBLY farmed and Nutrient Dense Produce, etc. They care about the products they release.  If you check out the ingredients of anything they have endorsed you will see NO ARTIFICIAL ingredients!

Even if you are smart and educated on these issues plaguing our Nation, Your probably not able to get ALL the natural SUPERFOODS, Veggies, Fruits, Probiotics, etc. you would like to have DAILY.  For the shear fact it’s hard to consume that amount of food in a SINGLE day.  Also, if you add up the cost to have most of these things in your cupboard and/or fridge it is UN affordable and hard to maintain.

MAJORITY of the time ACIDITY of the Body is WHY we are ABLE to catch DISEASE and SICKNESS!  If you keep your body slightly Alkaline you WILL be a WALKING Antibody!  Sickness does not stand a chance! Sickness THRIVES in an ACIDIC environment.  Problem is: It's very hard to keep a PH slightly over 7 because almost EVERYTHING we put into our bodies these days are ACIDIC!  Whether you use Shakeology as a TOOL for gaining a better PH or not, that is what NEEDS to be done in order to create a HEALTHY body!

30 DAYS INTO P90X3!!!

WOW!  I can't believe it has already been 30 days.  This is crazy!  I can do things I couldn't do before and I'm more inspired now then I've ever been.  I can see changes and most importantly I can FEEL changes! I think I officially started an addiction!


Since Day 1 Lost: 
*1 inch on each thigh
*3 inches on the waist
*Hips Same (my butt is firmer though, ask my Fiance) 
*3 lbs (cause lean muscle weighs more then fat)
*2 inches in Chest (thank God, I can spare to lose some there! lol)
*Arms Same (although, they are starting to looking tone)


I have to say I am PROUD of myself!  My progress is undeniable.  I haven't been perfect but I'm never getting discouraged.  I can and I am doing this.  

And I must SAY I am "Enjoying where I AM on the way to where I'm GOING!"-Joyce Meyer

2 Weeks into p90x3


PROGRESS




I'm a little late on actually writing this but either way.  I LOST 2 inches in the FIRST week of doing my p90x3 challenge!!!   I'm super excited about it!  This is going really well and I am currently on the beginning of week 3 but I'm not posting any pictures until Day 30!  This is something I am able to stick to.  I'm not going to lie and say I've been an angel, cause I have NOT.  Although, I have been really consistent compared to any other time I've started a weight loss journey.  I enjoy this work out more then others in the past and I'm just more determined then I have ever been.  I can really see my body start to change!  I haven't really lost so much weight but that's not important at this moment.  My fat is turning into lean muscle!  My whole body is tighter & even my Fiance has noticed.

What I need to do is step up my diet game!  This is where I am definitely slacking a bit.  It's not that I'm eating necessarily bad, it's just not the right amounts of each kind of food.  I let life take over and I always feel like I'm in a rush to eat.  As I'm writing this I'm thinking I NEED to prep and just make a plan for the week.  I didn't realize until at this very moment as I'm reflecting how many mistakes I've been making.  Too little of this or too much of that...... Even though the food is healthy you can't over eat with certain kinds or under eat.   Oh Shame on me because this is really designed to work.  I could have easily had better results.  Well what's done is done.  Looking toward the future ONLY!  I'm making it a NON-NEGOTIABLE part of my day, week, and month!  Prep my food and decide EXACTLY what and when I'm going to eat before the day starts.  Well, I'm excited all over again because I know when I continue with the diet I will see even BETTER results!!!! I'm so pumped!  Time to get more SERIOUS!

End of my 1st Week of P90x3

I've wasted too much time in my life making excuses and falling back into my old habits.  I should have been at my goal weight already.  Anyone who has seen my facebook posts in the past or friends know I have already finished a full Challenge.  The problem being that I never fully committed.  Which I discussed in my first Blog Post.  I can't help but be disappointed in myself, but I won't let it bring me down!  I am BEYOND determined this time and I know my AFTER picture is right around the corner!! 





That being said, I've decided to do this Shakeology Cleanse again.  I did this once before and I loved it.  I love food so no cleanse or diet is an easy thing for me, I won't lie.  I lost weight over those short 3 days and lost an inch last time.  I'm excited to see where I will be after these 3 days again doing my workouts for over a week by then and the cleanse combined!  It should be a nice little jump start! 




 I know giving my body a chance to remove some extra toxins that I know are bottled up in there will help me with gaining more energy and feeling great to keep me from wanting to go back to the "old me".  What's so great about the Shakeology Cleanse is your aiding in healing the body with all those nutrients packed in that one little shake!  You drink the Shakeology 3 times a day for those 3 days!  Those toxins don't stand a chance! #boom

P90x3 Day 1's Unnecessary Challenge


Day 1's Unnecessary Challenge

What is this unnecessary part of challenge I endured you ask?  Well it was working out through my hangover!!! So, because I told myself that I couldn't drink during my Challenge I then told myself I could have a drink the night before it started.  Duh! Big mistake!  Did I have one???  Hahaha NO.   I had like 5!  I was Drunk.  Every Sunday I have to fill my Fiance's guest list at Hakkasan Nightclub in MGM Las Vegas.  I was there doing the list which has gotten me in trouble a thousand times before and with the mindset of it being my last time I could drink I drank too much! SHOCKER.  Anyway, the point of all this is that I didn't make any excuses this time.  I did my Day 1 of p90x3 and I did it well!  So I'm proud of myself for that.  I tossed the idea back in forth in my mind "should I just start tomorrow instead?" But finally my mind was made up!  Also, my fiance got me irritated so once my blood was pumping I was ready to work out! Thanks Babe for the motivation! ;) hahahahaha 
I am pretty sure I learned my lesson and will continue with the NO alcohol rule from now on.

STARTING MY JOURNEY OF THE P90X3 CHALLENGE

MY CONFESSION:  This is NOT my first challenge.


I have done challenges in the past and just never stuck with them.  Joining the Challenge Groups really do help keep me motivated and pushing.  I would do really good but then fall off because I am so easily swayed to have a drink, or go out, or I'll just eat this tonight and back at it tomorrow. Ha! That's a joke.  One day of bad decisions leads to many.  Trust me when I tell you, You can NOT have your cake and eat it too!  Many people seem to know this already and they are the ones who manage busy lifestyles while staying healthy, fit, & fabulous! It takes drive, motivation, & dedication to reach important goals. I'm not saying you can't live life.  Life can be much more fulfilling if your truly happy, proud, & honest with yourself.  Know how to create the perfect balance and when you have to be in crunch time YOU ARE!  I have lived most my life with the idea next year or tomorrow.  Not when I was a teenager though, I had drive then.  Somewhere along the way I lost it.  Well my friends next year & tomorrow NEVER come.  So I have decided to stop dreaming about my goals and to start DOING!

There is something about my attitude this time which gets me really EXCITED!  I feel a change coming and I will NOT let myself down or any of my challengers/coaches!  With the support of my fellow challengers I know we are going to kill it.  I definitely feel more accountable to do well becoming a Beachbody Coach.  You have to be a product of the product your suggesting.  These challenge programs really work AMAZING!  I know I'll get the results I desire I have seen so many inspirational challengers make dramatic transformations.  DECIDE~COMMIT~SUCCEED & this is what I intend to do!!!
